Vinayaka chatuthi

Hi friends! Nice to see you.! Sorry I have not been posting for some days .

Okay!

We celebrate a festival today .

What is it?

Yes! It's Ganesh Chaturthi !

Which can be also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi etc.

So,

Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival dedicated to lord Ganesha.

Ganesha is a god with elephant head and a human body (with big STOMACH 🀣) . He has a brother called Muruga and parents, Lord Shiva and Godess Parvathi. Ganesha's vahana is a mouse called mooshikam.

Okay!

Now can we see a new story on Ganesha?

Actually , it's an old story, but most of you don't know about that.

Let's start!

Vibheeshana was returning from Ayodhya with Sriramgam Perumal in his hand which he got as a gift from Sri Rama after his pattabishekam.

While returning to Lanka , he wanted to perform his evening rituals, hence he gave the Perumal statue to a Shepard roaming there and requested him not to keep it down.

The Shepard agreed initially and after waiting for a few minutes he kept the Perumal statue down.

Vibheeshana got angry on seeing this and tried to move the statue, but the statue became immovable. He got angry on the Shepard and went chasing him. The Shepard ran on top of a small hill and stood there as lord Ganesha.

Yes, it was Lord Ganesha who portrayed as Shepard and played this drama to make Lord Ranganathan stay in Srirangam . The hill in which he stood is called Uchi Pilliyar Kovil in Trichy.

How was my story?

And for the finale ,

I am going to show a picture that I made.

Using Channa Dal ( Kadalaparupu) , Urad Dal ( Ulathamparupu), and Fenugreek ( Vendiyam) I made this.

Thank you friends!

Bye!

Ooh and Happy Vinnayaka Chatuthi.!

Bye bye¡!!!!!!!!
